Notes: A nice example of a Trans-Atlantic Ship cover from Philadelphia through New York, then on the British Cunard Packet "Persia", then Cross Channel to Calias, then on the train to Aarau-Winterhur and off to Wetzikon and finally delievered to Russikon in the Canton of Zurich. Although why it went past Russikon to Wetzikon is still a puzzle.
Condition: Very Fine with usual file folds.
Contents: Extensive Legible German: Dateline Philadelphia, 27 July 1861. Mr. Werner Itschner writes to Herren Guyer Wettstein & Co. of Russikon, Switzerland. A lengthy three page letter.
